I volunteer for Trans Academy as the lead composer and as an assistant video editor. Here is some of the music I composed for the YouTube channel.

In addition to composing the main thematic elements and producing all of the above audio tracks, as lead composer I direct a team of musicians to maintain consistency around our musical branding and also provide guidance and education to raise our musical standards overall. I also work closely with the video editors to ensure the quality of the overall audio mix.

I also frequently perform at Trans Academy events with the goal of encouraging more people (especially members of the trans community) to start producing and performing music, and I love the connections I’ve made as a result, particularly the members of my team who have come on board as a result.

They provide peer support, voice lessons, vocational skill training and networking, resources to navigate gender identity, and opportunities for meaningful connections. In doing so they create a supportive space where members can engage in empowering conversations, access valuable resources, and celebrate the diversity of gender identities.

I composed the primary music for the Ship Full of Jerks podcast, a science fiction and pop-culture podcast hosted by Ryan Thomas Riddle and Mark Farinas.

The client’s request was simply for “space bossanova. Like 50s spacey.”
