Bandcamp alternatives

Just when I was starting to think that Songtradr’s acquisition of Bandcamp was turning out to not be the big problem everyone predicted, they’ve gone and shaken everything back up by laying off the remaining Bandcamp engineering team.

This, uh, is not a good sign.

So, anyway, while I’m not planning on dropping Bandcamp entirely just yet (and will still be uploading my new releases there for the foreseeable future), here’s some of the other places I sell my music.

The usual Bandcamp Friday stuff

I am still not a fan of Bandcamp Friday, but it still keeps on happening and this is still the best way to support musicians by buying their music. So, just as a reminder, I have a very large discography available and I’ve also recently reduced the prices on a lot of things, so you can get about 17 hours of music from the past 26 years for under $50. I think that’s a pretty good deal! (Of course you can pay more if you want, and I would absolutely appreciate it if you do.)

Of course, if you’d prefer to support me on a platform other than Bandcamp, the same discography is available for about the same price over on Mirlo, and also my artist page on Subvert has recently been activated as well, although my entire discography is not up there just yet.

And if you prefer physical media that can be arranged, and if you want to go a bit more analog, there’s a place for that too.

Anyway, this month I actually do have a new release, although it isn’t much of one, and it’s also pay-what-you-want-including-$0.
